90210 Gets Invaded by Jersey Shore

A little bit of the Jersey Shore will come to the CW’s 90210 this autumn. EW has learned that Vinny Guadagnino has been cast in an episode that will air in November.

Guadagnino will portray a celebrity who plays in a high stakes poker game with Liam (Matt Lanter) when the cast heads to Las Vegas. He won’t play himself, however: He’ll depict a “young and gregarious” celebrity who “enjoys the fruits of fame.” Earlier this month, the show put out a search for a celeb who “could be anybody from an upcoming movie star to a well-known reality TV personality.”

90210 wanted casting agents to submit well-known names only — thus, the arrival of Vinny!

Here’s a fun and unexpected piece of casting for the new season of 90210. EW has learned exclusively that Billy Ray Cyrus has signed on to play Judd Ridge, the father of southern rich kid Austin (Justin Deeley).

The role won’t be much of a stretch for Cyrus: He will play a country western star of a different name. Judd’s son Austin was introduced in the premiere episode as a new love-hate interest for Naomi (Annalynne McCord). They had an adversarial encounter over a house that she wanted to buy.

Cyrus’ episode will air in November. He currently hosts the reality show Surprise Homecoming on TLC. Earlier this year, he finished his five-year run on Hannah Montana with his daughter, Miley.

He’s putting the “oh!” back in 90210! Newcomer Justin Deeley is a fresh face in the world’s most famous zip code, playing a potential love interest for AnnaLynne McCord‘s Naomi — but you can get an eye full before the big premiere tonight.

Justin stripped down for a sexy underwear shoot and Celebuzz has the pics! The young stud will play a “sexy cowboy” type on the show. Yee-haw!

This year the gang is going off to college, which is a pretty big deal.

Shenae Grimes (aka Annie) couldn’t help but express her excitement for viewers to watch their favorite Beverly Hills residents head off to college this season! She wrote on her blog:

“The premiere is coming so soon and I can’t believe we’re finally off to college! My first time ever walking college hallways but these ones are fake so not sure if that still counts, sorry mom! I’m really excited to see Annie and the other characters on 90210 growing up and I hope you are too so please tune in! We also have a great lineup of guest stars this season who are certainly worth tuning in for, particularly our premiere’s performance by Theophilus London!”

Natch, Justin isn’t the only hot bodied guy on 90210. Just today, we caught a peek at a shirtless Trevor Donovan taking a jog in West Hollywood!

’90210′ Season 4 Scoop: Naomi’s Pregnancy Drama Will Have A ‘Lasting Impact’ On Her & Max!

90210‘s third season ended with Naomi’s (AnnaLynne McCord) pregnancy bombshell, so why hasn’t there been a baby — or bump — to speak of in any of the previews for season four? I went straight to Naomi’s suspected baby daddy for the scoop, and while he can’t say if there’ll be “a little Max or a little Naomi on the way,” Josh Zuckerman does confirm the baby drama will leave a lasting impact on the couple.

“There are many possible scenarios,” Josh, who plays Naomi’s nerdy boyfriend Max, tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively. “But regardless of the outcome, it’s something that plays into their relationship throughout season four. It was such a huge shared event between the two of them, and I think it influences their relationship from then on.”

You can accuse me of reading between the lines here, but Josh’s use of the past tense makes me think I was right all along: Naomi won’t be breaking the bank at Baby GAP anytime soon.

So if Naomi is indeed baby-less in season four, do you think she suffered a tragic miscarriage during summer break? Or, even more shocking, opted for an abortion? My top theory is that she made the whole thing up to keep Max from being sent away. (Just ask Mr. Cannon about Naomi’s dicey relationship with “the truth.”)

We’re just one week away from finding out the truth, so don’t miss 90210‘s fourth season premiere Sept. 13 at 8 p.m. on The CW!

Cast member Tristan Wilds was given an early birthday treat, being presented with ice cream cup cakes from a local store. Wilds turns 22 on tomorrow.
